Guided by sustainability, innovation, agility, and strong community relationships, Tata Steel aims to be the most respected and valuable metals and mining company globally. **Role Description** The Medicine Specialist will provide comprehensive medical care and support to employees at Tata Steel’s west bokaro division operations, ensuring high standards of occupational and general health. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting medical consultations, managing acute and chronic conditions, handling emergency medical situations, and coordinating preventive health programs and wellness initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. The Medicine Specialist will also participate in health education activities, contribute to continuous improvement of medical services, and support workplace safety and occupational health policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Odisha, India. **Qualifications** - Strong clinical expertise in Medicine, with specialization or substantial experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Family Medicine. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary medical teams in an industrial or hospital setting. - Excellent Communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels and delivering clear health guidance and education. - Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution; postgraduate qualification in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine is preferred. - Valid medical license/registration in India and familiarity with occupational health standards and relevant regulations. - Ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure, with strong ethical judgment and attention to patient confidentiality. - Experience in corporate or industrial healthcare, including occupational health, is an advantage.
