Job description

**Job Overview:** We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Modeller MEP to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit MEP (Electrical) with a focus on cable tray design, cable routing, junction box (JB) layout, and electrical equipment modelling. Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and AutoCAD for drafting is essential. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop accurate 3D electrical MEP models using Revit, adhering to project specifications and industry standards. - Model cable trays, cable routing, junction boxes, and electrical equipment layout for buildings and infrastructure. - Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams for effective MEP integration. - Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage. - Review and interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and technical drawings. - Generate detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation. - Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews. - Ensure compliance with company and client-specific BIM standards and protocols. - Collaborate with design engineers to update models as per design changes. **Requirements:** - Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Modeller in MEP/BIM projects. - Expert in Revit (Electrical discipline) with hands-on experience in large-scale MEP projects. - Strong knowledge of: - Cable tray routing & supports - Cable management and JB placement - Electrical room layouts - Electrical equipment modelling - Proficient in Navisworks (clash detection and coordination workflows). - Skilled in AutoCAD for 2D electrical drafting. - Good understanding of MEP coordination, BIM workflows, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes). - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. **Nice to Have:** - Experience in industrial or infrastructure MEP projects. - Familiarity with BIM 360 or other common data environments (CDEs). - Basic understanding of electrical load calculations or design principles (not mandatory).
