**Job description** **Location-Kolkata** **Experience Years- 7-12 Years** **A TCS Senior System Engineer/Consultant in SAP ABAP typically manages complex RICEFW developments, S/4HANA migrations, and technical team guidance. Requirements and responsibilities demand strong expertise in modern SAP landscapes.** **Core Responsibilities** - **Technical Delivery:** **Design, develop, and test complex ABAP objects including Reports (ALV, Module Pool), Interfaces (IDOC, BAPI, RFC, OData), Enhancements (BADIs, User Exits), and Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms).** - **S/4HANA Expertise:** **Implement CDS views, AMDP, and RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) for HANA-optimized performance.** - **Integration & Migration:** **Assist in data migration tools (LSMW, Migration Cockpit) and third-party integrations.** - **Team & Customer Management:** **Review Functional Specifications (FS), provide effort estimations, and mentor junior developers in offshore/onsite models.** - **Quality Assurance:** **Ensure adherence to SDLC, conduct code reviews, perform performance tuning, and support testing cycles (SIT/UAT).** **Expected Qualifications & Skills** - **Education:** **B.Tech, B.E, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science/equivalent.** - **Experience:** **Minimum 6+ years in SAP ABAP with at least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.** - **Advanced Skills:** **SAP Fiori/UI5 knowledge, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) understanding, and proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP.** - **Soft Skills:** **Ability to interact with global clients, interpret OSS notes, and manage service SLAs.** **Role:** **IT Consulting - OtherIndustry Type:** **IT Services & ConsultingDepartment:** **ConsultingEmployment Type:** **Full Time, PermanentRole Category:** **IT ConsultingEducationUG:** **Any GraduateKey SkillsSkills highlighted with are preferred keyskillsSAP ABAPSenior EngineerABAP**
