Accessibility Coordinator **Location** PCS CHE, Chennai **Years of Experience** 2-5 Years **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist with a strong emphasis on Usability Testing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, and hands-on experience with various screen readers. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure our software products are user-friendly and compliant with accessibility guidelines. **Responsibilities** - Conduct usability testing to evaluate the accessibility and user experience of software applications. - Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 standards throughout the software development lifecycle. - Utilize screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, AIRA) to assess and improve application accessibility. - Implement semantic HTML practices to enhance web accessibility. - Evaluate mobile accessibility and ensure applications are optimized for mobile devices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility features into software products. - Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and best practices in accessibility. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing of banking applications. **Mandatory Skills** - Strong knowledge of Usability Testing. - Mastery of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 accessibility standards. - Hands-on experience with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, AIRA). - Proficient in semantic HTML and mobile accessibility. - Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing. - Banking experience is highly desirable. - Excellent communication skills. **Preferred Skills** - Knowledge of Online Banking and Bill Payment (OLBB) systems. - Familiarity with point of sale systems. **Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
