Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Accountant (**Lead Analyst** **R2R) t**o join **GLBL BusSvcs RTR – Global Finance Services Division.** The Record to Report (RTR) professional plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial accounting and reporting activities. This position supports the end-to-end financial close process while maintaining compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and organizational policies. The role combines strong accounting expertise, analytical capability, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver reliable financial information that supports business decision-making. The preference for this role is to be based out of **Bangalore Office, KA-India** **What you will do** - Maintain financial records and accounting transactions in compliance with GAAP, statutory requirements, and company policies. - Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the general ledger and supporting financial documentation. - Generate, validate, and distribute financial reports for management, auditors, and external stakeholders. - Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements across multiple legal entities and business units. - Develop, enhance, and leverage automation tools and reporting solutions to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial processes. - Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for business improvement. - Support internal and external audit requests and ensure adherence to internal control requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and drive continuous process improvements. - Contribute to standardization, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives within the RTR organization. **What you will have** - 3-4 years of Accounting Degree or equivalent. - Professional Certification from CA/CMA institute/US CPA/CMA preferrable - 4-5 years of relevant experience in captive accounting service centers or large corporates with Manufacturing, Service & Trading nature of business. - Expert in handling multiple ERP's and varied accounting tools - Expert in Data Analytical skills and Interpretation of results - Expert in understanding end to end accounting/business issues - **Shift Timing:** **EAME shift 1PM-10PM** - **This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.** **Skill Descriptors:** **Accuracy and Attention to Detail** *Understanding the importance of precision and quality in financial processes and reporting; ability to consistently deliver accurate and reliable results.* Level: Extensive Experience - Champions and contributes to accounting and reporting best practices. - Accurately processes and reviews large volumes of complex financial data. - Maintains an effective balance between productivity, quality, and compliance requirements. - Establishes controls and review mechanisms to ensure data integrity and minimize errors. - Drives a culture of quality and accountability within the team. - Demonstrates advanced knowledge of quality assurance techniques, compliance standards, and validation methodologies. **Analytical Thinking** *Knowledge of analytical tools and methodologies; ability to evaluate information, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to business and operational challenges.* Level: Working Knowledge - Evaluates accounting and financial issues by identifying key drivers and business impacts. - Systematically assesses alternative solutions and recommends appropriate actions. - Utilizes analytical tools and methodologies to identify trends, patterns, and process improvement opportunities. - Understands the broader business implications of financial data and operational decisions. - Applies logical reasoning and professional judgment to interpret data and support decision-making. **Effective Communications** *Ability to communicate information clearly, professionally, and effectively across all organizational levels.* Level: Working Knowledge - Provides constructive and actionable feedback focused on continuous improvement. - Actively listens, seeks clarification when needed, and incorporates feedback effectively. - Prepares clear reports, presentations, and business doc
