**Job PROFILE** Job Title - Accounts payable Location - Bangalore Bachelores in Finance/ Accounting, Qualified MBA (Finance) or equivalent with experience of 2-3 years in Accounts Payable departments with strong exposure to domestics/ foreign purchase booking, local tax requirements for GST/WHT at invoice booking to Payments. Working knowledge of domestic purchase booking, vendor accounting, and local tax concepts (GST, withholding tax) in SAP HANA or R/3 Exposure to payment processing and coordination with banks is an advantage Experience in a multinational or shared services environment preferred Good analytical skills with the ability to document processes and follow SOPs Comfortable working with internal teams and supporting audit requirements RESPONSIBILITY Execute end-to-end processing of domestic/foreign vendor invoices, statutory bookings, and routine third-party payments under defined SOPs with better speed and accuracy Support GST, withholding tax, and other local tax compliance activities, including data preparation for filings and audits Monitor vendor balances, open items, and ageing, and follow up on discrepancies Perform SAP AP activities including invoice posting, payment run execution support, clearing, and reconciliations Maintain proper documentation to support audit and compliance requirements Coordinate with Business Units, Logistics, Treasury, Tax teams, and affiliates to resolve AP-related queries Adhere to defined controls, approval workflows, and governance frameworks Support internal and statutory audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and explanations as required Escalate exceptions, system issues, or process gaps to senior team members in a timely manner Your opportunities for personal growth The opportunity to get insights into the financial overview of a country and handle varied accounting topics Strong professional support and working with well-experienced colleagues both local and from other countries Professional development/training opportunities within the company Opportunities in driving regional projects
