### **General Information** **Location** Noida, Uttar Pradesh Working Schedule Full-Time Work Arrangement Hybrid Relocation Assistance Available Yes Posted Date 12-Aug-2026 Job ID 19906 ### **Description and Requirements** **Role Summary** The role supports actuarial valuation and financial reporting activities for Asia life insurance businesses across multiple accounting and regulatory frameworks. The incumbent will work closely with local offices, finance, and global stakeholders to deliver accurate reserve calculations, IFRS 17 reporting, and related actuarial analyses. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform **US GAAP (US GAAP), US STAT, and Local Statutory valuations** for life insurance products - Support **IFRS 17 reporting**, including ongoing reporting and **implementation / enhancement activities** - Assist with **risk-based capital, solvency regime, and regulatory reporting** requirements - Conduct **experience studies** (mortality, lapse, expenses, etc.) and support **assumption setting** - Analyze and explain movements in reserves and financial results - Prepare and maintain **actuarial documentation**, methodologies, and audit support materials - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external consultants - Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of actuarial outputs **Key Skills & Competencies** **Technical Skills** - Strong understanding of **reserving and valuation concepts** - Solid knowledge of **cashflows, financial statements, and insurance accounting** - Good understanding of **IFRS 17 principles and reporting framework** - **Prophet user experience** preferred (model development experience is not mandatory) - SQL - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Professional Skills** - Ability to work **independently** with minimal supervision - High level of **integrity** and professional judgment - Takes **ownership and accountability** for deliverables - Strong **written and verbal communication** skills - Able to clearly explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders **Qualification & Experience** - 2 to 3 years of actuarial work experience - Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Progress toward actuarial qualification preferred - Prior experience in life insurance valuation or reporting, knowledge of participating business is an advantage **About MetLife** Recognized on Fortune magazine's list of the "World's Most Admired Companies" and Fortune World’s 25 Best Workplaces™, MetLife, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is one of the world’s leading financial services companies; providing insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management to individual and institutional customers.
