## **About the Role** We are looking for a production professional to lead the manufacturing section for airbag cushion lines. The role involves managing production operations, training direct employees, and driving process improvement initiatives to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance. ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **Production Leadership** - Lead manufacturing section for airbag cushion lines - Manage production planning and execution - Ensure meeting of customer schedules and production targets - Supervise and guide direct employees ### **Training & Capability Development** - Conduct training for all direct employees - Develop and manage a sewing school / learning center - Ensure compliance with statutory training audit requirements - Build functional knowledge across production teams ### **Process & Quality Improvement** - Drive process improvement and optimization initiatives - Ensure zero quality issues through process validation - Support new production development and SOP implementation - Troubleshoot process-related issues and improve machine efficiency ### **Operational Excellence** - Improve productivity and overall plant performance - Implement lean production and world-class manufacturing practices - Support process automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives - Ensure alignment with global manufacturing standards ## **Deliverables** - Training completion for all direct employees - Compliance with audit and statutory training requirements - Achievement of plant productivity targets - Meeting customer delivery schedules - Zero quality issues and effective process validation - Continuous improvement in manufacturing processes ## **Experience & Skills** - 5–6 years of production management experience - Experience in training and developing employees - Hands-on experience in assembly processes - Strong capability in troubleshooting process issues - Exposure to lean manufacturing and world-class production systems - MNC experience and cross-cultural exposure preferred ## **Education** - B.E. / B.Tech ## **Competencies** ### **Behavioral** - Strong problem-solving capability - Multitasking and adaptability - Communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage teams effectively - Accountability and ownership ### **Functional** - Drive customer focus - Cultivate innovation - Make sound decisions - Manage and develop teams - Drive collaboration - Engage and inspire others - Build trust ## **Personal Characteristics** - Ability to lead teams and meet customer targets with CFT support - Strong understanding of production systems and processes - Versatile and adaptable to new challenges - Hands-on approach to problem-solving - Strong focus on continuous improvement ## **Languages** - English - Hindi - Marathi ## **Additional Information** - Good understanding of lean production and world-class manufacturing practices - Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts preferred Function Production Locations Autoliv Inflators India Pvt Ltd (INRA), Pune ## **Autoliv Inflators India Pvt Ltd (INRA), Pune** ## **Workplace & Culture** Culture and Work Environment At Autoliv, the vision of saving more lives guides and motivates our work.
