**About the Role:** We are looking for experienced **Aero Engine Technical Authors / Technical Publications Engineers** with expertise in **aerospace technical documentation, S1000D, and airworthiness compliance**. This role involves working as a **Competent Author**, driving high-quality **technical manuals and publications** while ensuring compliance with **safety, reliability, and aerospace standards**. The ideal candidate will bring strong **engineering judgment**, hands-on experience in **technical publications**, and deep knowledge of **aero engine systems and components**. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage **technical manuals and aerospace documentation** in line with **S1000D / iSpec 2200 standards** - Act as a **Competent Author**, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance of **technical publications** - Analyze engineering data and recommend updates to **technical documentation and manuals** - Ensure adherence to **airworthiness compliance, safety, and reliability requirements** - Interpret **engineering drawings, aero engine modules, and technical specifications** - Collaborate with **cross-functional teams, SMEs, and customers** for documentation accuracy - Identify and address **Safety, Reliability, and Cost (SRC) issues** in documentation - Deliver projects within defined **cost, quality, and timelines** **Required Skills:** - Strong experience in **Aero Engine Technical Documentation / Technical Publications** - Expertise in **S1000D, iSpec 2200, and Simplified Technical English (STE)** - Knowledge of **aero engine systems, modules, and parts terminology** - Ability to interpret **engineering drawings and technical data** - Experience in **airworthiness standards, safety, and compliance documentation** - Familiarity with **DFMEA / PFMEA and safety analysis techniques** - Strong **analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail** - Excellent **communication and stakeholder management skills** **Preferred Skills:** - Certification in **S1000D / iSpec 2200 / STE** - Experience working as a **Competent Author in aerospace domain** - Exposure to **structured authoring tools and content management systems** - Background in **Safety & Reliability Engineering** - Ability to manage **multiple documentation projects independently** **Location:** Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Noida **Experience:** 3-14 Years **Qualifications:** - Bachelors Degree in **Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or related field**
