Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Summary **Role :** Psychometrician - Test Development Analyst/Statistician **TEX :** 5 Years **Job Summary:** The role has primary responsibility for the management of item and test data for a number of English language proficiency tests. This involves statistical analysis of test data and working with databases and other proprietary systems to monitor test items and tests to ensure they have the appropriate measurement characteristics and remain fit for purpose. The post holder will work on a range of assessments and any ad hoc projects which require validation data to be analysed. Key Responsibilities **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure data collection for item and test calibration is conducted efficiently and securely * Maintain high-quality coordination activities, delivered on time and within budget * Assist psychometric staff in producing item statistics and regular quality control analysis * Report on pre-test form performance, cohort performance, and geographic distribution * Perform statistical analysis on test data to ensure accuracy and reliability Skill Requirements **Required Skills and Competencies:** * Educated to graduate level * Experience supporting statistical analysis or data-driven decision-making in an assessment or research context * Knowledge of test development processes and good practice * Training on and use advanced IT packages: eg SQL query analysis, SPSS, DBeaver * Excellent Excel and database skills * Ability to adapt, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Commitment to data quality and integrity **#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now:** focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now: focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-
