Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Service Line Strategic Technology Group Responsibilities - Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams. - Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards. - Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. - Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other. - Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma. - Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS). - Maintain observability standards: structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling. - Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions. - Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices. Technical and Professional Requirements - AI engineering requirements: High proficiency using AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with a strong understanding of AI-driven and AI-managed coding workflows. - Solid grounding in prompt engineering, structuring, iterating, and validating prompts for consistent, production-quality code generation. - Hands-on experience designing and constructing AI coding agent customisations: agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins. - Frontend: React / Angular (micro-frontend architecture with single-spa / Module Federation) - TypeScript, HTML5, CSS - Unit testing: Jasmine, Karma, Jest - Backend Integration: Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud) primary backend services - Node.js - RESTful APIs microservices architecture Preferred Skills - Technology- >AI-Generative AI- >Artificial Intelligence - Basic - Technology- >Full stack- >Java Full stack - Technology- >AI-Generative AI- >Generative AI - Basic- >retrieval augmented generation (rag)
