AI Governance & Cost Management Specialist

**Role & responsibilities** : Role Purpose The AI Cost Management & Governance Specialist will be responsible for establishing and managing SFA-wide controls, visibility, and optimization for AI usage across teams across SFA. The role will focus on AI cost governance, including LLM token consumption, agent usage, tool evaluation and proposal governance, and adoption oversight for AI platforms and other approved enterprise AI capabilities. The role will ensure that AI usage is cost-efficient, secure, measurable, and aligned with business value, while supporting responsible AI adoption across engineering, operations, and productivity functions. The role is expected to work cross-functionally with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, Architecture, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders. In addition, this role will act as the central point of contact for managing and approving requests for additional licenses of existing approved AI tools across SFA. While the role does not govern the introduction of new tools, it will ensure that any incremental license demand for currently approved tools is justified, tracked, and aligned with usage needs and cost optimization objectives. Key Responsibilities - **AI Cost Governance:** Define and enforce cost controls for tokens, agents, and AI tool usage across SFA. - **Cost Optimization:** Continuously optimize AI consumption to ensure efficiency and business value alignment. - **Visibility & Reporting:** Provide clear dashboards and insights on AI usage, costs, and ROI. - **Tool Governance:** Govern usage and expansion of approved AI tools (Miro AI, Confluence AI, Copilot). - **License Management:** Own and optimize allocation and approval of AI tool licenses. - **Cross-Functional Alignment:** Partner with DevOps, Architecture, Security, Finance, and Procurement for integrated governance. - **Compliance & Responsible AI:** Ensure secure, compliant, and responsible AI adoption aligned with SITA policies. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills - Strong understanding of: - AI/LLM cost models (token-based pricing, inference cost) - AI agents and orchestration frameworks - Cloud platforms - Experience with: - Cost management / FinOps tools - Observability and monitoring platforms - Collaboration tools (Confluence, Miro, etc.) with AI integrations Professional Experience - 58 years of experience in: - AI Ops / DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering / FinOps - Proven experience in: - Cost governance or optimization - Cross-functional stakeholder engagement - Exposure to **AI platforms or enterprise AI adoption** preferred Whats in It for the Candidate - Opportunity to lead **enterprise AI cost governance** initiatives - High visibility role influencing **AI adoption strategy across SFA** - Work with cutting-edge **AI tools, agents, and platforms** - Career growth aligned with **SITA global framework and innovation agenda** **Exps- 10yrs to 16yrs** **Location - New Delhi**
