We were also cited as a Leader in the ISG Provider Lens™ 2025 for Digital Engineering Services 2025 and the Everest Group Talent Readiness for Next-generation Application Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2025 **About Position** - Role : AI Governance Lead - India - Location : Bengaluru - Experience : 8–12 years - Job Type : Full Time Employment **What You'll Do** Lead the design, implementation, and operationalisation of enterprise AI governance frameworks ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption. - Perform AI governance maturity assessments covering policies, standards, oversight bodies, model inventory, risk processes, and audit readiness - Define and implement enterprise AI governance framework including use case intake, risk classification, and approval workflows - Establish model registry standards and documentation practices such as model cards and data sheets - Align AI governance with data governance frameworks including consent management, data lineage, retention policies, and PII controls - Develop vendor and model risk management frameworks for third-party AI services, including licensing and intellectual property considerations - Define and implement security controls for GenAI systems including prompt injection defence, data exfiltration prevention, and safe tool usage - Develop and enforce Responsible AI principles such as fairness, transparency, explainability, accountability, and human-in-the-loop safeguards - Define evaluation and testing standards for AI and GenAI models covering accuracy, bias, toxicity, hallucination risk, and robustness - Establish monitoring frameworks including drift detection, performance tracking, safety metrics, and incident response mechanisms - Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies - Drive training, awareness, and adoption of AI governance practices across the organisation - Support audit readiness and compliance reporting by enabling proper documentation, evidence capture, and traceability **Expertise You'll Bring** Strong experience in AI governance, risk management, and Responsible AI practices with ability to design and implement enterprise-grade frameworks. - 8–12 years of experience in AI/ML, governance, risk, or compliance roles - Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and Generative AI tools - Proven experience in designing governance frameworks, policies, and controls - Deep understanding of Responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, and explainability - Experience with model risk management, audit processes, and regulatory compliance - Familiarity with model documentation standards such as model cards and data sheets - Strong knowledge of data governance concepts including lineage, metadata, and privacy controls - Experience in securing GenAI systems and mitigating risks such as prompt injection and data leakage - Ability to define evaluation metrics and testing frameworks for AI models - Strong stakeholder management skills working with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills **Benefits** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment** Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
