Expertise in IBM AIX Administration (Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning) 2. Strong Knowledge of LPAR, VIO, NIM, and PowerVM Virtualization 3. Experience in Patch Management, Security Hardening & Compliance (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) 4. Proficiency in Logical Volume Manager (LVM), Filesystem Management, and Storage Connectivity 5. Strong Scripting Skills (Shell, Python, Ansible) for Automation & Configuration Management 6. Experience in High Availability (HACMP / PowerHA) & Disaster Recovery Solutions 7. Backup & Recovery Management (TSM, NetBackup, or equivalent solutions) 8. Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL Framework) 9. Capacity Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis 10. Experience in Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure (IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, etc.) **Good to Have:** 1. Deep Expertise in AIX & IBM Power Systems Administration 2. Strong Troubleshooting & Analytical Skills 3. Ability to Lead Critical Incident Resolution & Root Cause Analysis 4. Process-Oriented Approach & Documentation Skills 5. Stakeholder Management & Communication Abilities 6. Certifications: IBM Certified System Administrator – AIX, ITIL v3/v4, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) 7. Knowledge of Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) & DevOps Practices 8. Experience in Hybrid Cloud Deployments & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) **Essential:** - The AIX Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for managing IBM AIX environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and security compliance. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting AIX infrastructure, leading troubleshooting efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for operational excellence. Additionally, the SME will drive automation, process improvements, and capacity planning to enhance system stability and efficiency. **Minimum Qualification** - 15 years of full-time education - Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
