AM - Control Room Engineer

**Qualification & Experience:** BE/ B. Tech (Mechanical & Electrical) with 7 to 12 years of experience. [preference to be given to BOE Qualified & NPTI] **Job Description:** - The Control Room Engineer (CRE) is responsible to operate the Combined Cycle Power Plant within the constraints of OEM Guidelines, O&M Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures. - He is responsible in supervising the day-to-day operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant to meet prescribed load requirements during his assigned duties. - Operate power plant in an efficient, reliable, economical, environment friendly and safe manner. - Coordinate shift operational functions closely with the Shift Manager and Shift Operation Engineer. - Work at the Control Room Monitoring station by closely monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis. - Responding to alarms by taking appropriate actions and executes plant safe shut-down and start-up procedures, as required. - Assures that the plant meets its generating requirements / dispatch schedules while operating in a safe and efficient manner. - Perform work in strict compliance with the Environmental, Health and Safety Management System Rules and operating procedures. - Anticipate the problems which have potential to affect the availability, reliability, safety and promptly address for an action plan - Should possess good Interpersonal skills like Active listener, Communication skills, crisis Management, teamwork, and Leadership. - Candidate should have good academic records and working in Power Plant minimum capacity of 100 MW.
