**Job Summary** The Compliance Manager will lead the delivery of labour law compliance advisory and execution services for a portfolio of diverse clients. This role balances team leadership, expert advisory, and relationship management to ensure client organizations strictly adhere to central, state, and local employment laws. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Client Advisory & Delivery** - **Technical Lead:** Serve as the primary subject matter expert for clients on complex labour law matters, new regulations, and labour code updates. - **Risk Assessment:** Conduct comprehensive statutory compliance Assurance and gap analyses for client facilities, warehouses, and corporate offices. - **Remediation Planning:** Design and execute corrective action plans to bridge identified compliance gaps for clients. **2. Operations & Vendor Management** - **Oversight:** Supervise end-to-end statutory registrations, licensing, and timely filings (including EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, and Contract Labour). - **Technology Solution**: Act as knowledge partner to develop tech solution for Labour Codes compliances. - **Vendor Assurance:** Oversee compliance Assurance for client contractors, staffing vendors, and third-party agencies. - **Inspection Support:** Guide clients through government labour inspections and manage responses to legal notices or show-cause notices. **3. Team Leadership & Growth** - **People Management:** Lead, mentor, and track the performance of a team of compliance executives and senior executives. - **Client Retention:** Act as the key account manager to maintain high client satisfaction and secure contract renewals. - **Business Development:** Identify cross-selling opportunities for additional consulting services and assist in drafting business proposals for new prospects. **Required Qualifications & Skills** **Education & Experience** - **Degree:** Bachelor of Laws (LLB),Master of Business Administration (MBA in HR) - **Certification:** Specialized learning in Labour Laws is highly preferred. - **Experience:** 5 years of experience in statutory compliance, with at least **2-3 years specifically in a consulting firm or professional services agency**. **Core Competencies** - **Expertise:** Deep knowledge of Indian Labour Laws (Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages, POSH, and Labour Codes). - **Tech-Savvy:** Proficiency with central and state compliance portals (Shram Suvidha, Unified EPFO, ESIC). - **Communication:** Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to explain complex legal frameworks to corporate stakeholders simply.
