Learn more about: Customer **Your work profile** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our Financial Services technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of financial applications, including banking, payments, lending, insurance, and investment platforms. Experience on AI driven test is an added advantage. **Key Skills Required** - **Education and qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related quantitative field. - **Test Script Development:** Translate functional specifications and manual test cases into automated test scripts using frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Rest Assured for APIs). - **Execution & Maintenance:** Run automated regression test suites, analyze test results, and maintain existing scripts to accommodate UI or logic changes. - **Banking Domain Testing:** Assist in validating core financial workflows, including Fund Transfers, Account Management, and Credit Card Processing. - **Defect Tracking:** Identify, log, and track bugs using tracking tools like Jira, ensuring they are resolved before production. - **API Testing:** Perform basic manual and automated testing of RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration between banking systems. - **Data Validation:** Execute basic SQL queries to verify that backend databases accurately record financial transactions - **Programming Skills:** Foundational knowledge of programming languages like **Java** or **Python** - **Testing Tools:** Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Postman). - **Database Knowledge:** Basic understanding of **SQL** concepts to query databases. - **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
