Its expertise spans AI/ML, Data Science, IoT, NLP, Cloud, Infrastructure, RPA, Automation, Cyber Security, Blockchain, SAP S4 HANA, and Enterprise Architecture. Its “Work with Heart” philosophy reinforces a results-over-facetime mindset and positions the team as an exciting place to contribute to the digital transformation of a Fortune 500 company. **Purpose of the role** The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a Analyst II – Data Stewardship. This role will report into Sr. Manager - Data Stewardship, GDGS team in India and functionally collaborate with stakeholders (business and technical teams) across the Enterprise teams. This individual will develop and support the data policies, processes, rules and standards for our Unstructured data (documents, emails, media files, PDFs, social media, chat logs, etc.) across the enterprise. The Unstructured Data Steward has ownership and accountability for executing data governance processes and standards for the Unstructured data. **Key Accountabilities** - Lead Data Governance initiatives within the Unstructured data space. - Develop and maintain a governance framework for unstructured data including ownership, security, access, retention, lineage, and quality monitoring. - Support configuration and roll out of new software solution for managing Unstructured data. - Partner with data owners to classify and tag unstructured content using metadata and assisted tools. - Establish audit methodology and remediation approach. - Identify and inventory unstructured data sources across business units (SharePoint, network drives, email archives, Microsoft teams, etc.) - Work across functions to classify, catalog, label and govern unstructured content, ensuring it is discoverable, secure, and used responsibly in compliance with enterprise data policies and regulatory frameworks. - Collaborate with different functions and stakeholders (including Cyber Security, Office 365 and Governance) to drive adherence to Unstructured Data Policy and standards. - Partner with the data cataloging team to integrate unstructured data assets into the enterprise data catalog. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience (2+ years of relevant experience preferred) **Preferred Qualifications** - Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change with cross functional stakeholders. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Experience and competence in leading, influencing, coaching and mentoring others - Self-starter and self-motivated requiring little support from others - Proactive and tech savvy. - Experience with software applications configurations, managing configurations settings, issues troubleshooting. - Attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies - Tenacity to find and resolve issues - Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance strategies and processes. - Experience with Collibra, Alation, and/or other data governance solutions **ELIGIBILITY** Applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
