Analyst - Record To Report (RTR)

**Summary** Established Accounting professional. Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects, and / or government accounting. Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of the processes. **Role & responsibilities** Performs specific RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Performs specific controls activities including support of internal and external audit activities • Performs activities to include standard RTR activities around balance sheet and reconciliation Prepares month end variance analysis • Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is per standard defined • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners • Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activities • Confirms procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policie **Preferred candidate profile** - Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects, and / or government accounting, to ensure accuracy of the accounting entries. - Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of the processes. - Monitors account entries and control activities to ensure accuracy of information. - Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations based on financial data. - Assists on projects, and internal and external audits to ensure quality of project and timely completion. - Compares budget to actual costs and provides advice to ensure budgets are adhered to. - Prepares basic financial analysis in order to ensure accuracy of financial reporting. - Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is as per standard defined. **Minimum Requirements** Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work University Degree or equivalent A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
