Position profile The Position The Specialist Analytics Developer is an experienced delivery role within the Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE), responsible for building and owning complex analytics solutions that deploy real estate insights into the business and our clients. The Specialist Analytics Developer contributes across the full analytics lifecycle — from wireframe and solution design through to build, QA, publishing and documentation — using Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Python and SQL. At this level, the Specialist Analytics Developer demonstrates greater autonomy in translating complex requirements into practical analytics solutions, and is expected to act as a technical reference point for Analytics Developers within the team, supporting their development through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance. Role and Responsibilities Working within the Analytics Lifecycle, the Specialist Analytics Developer holds responsibility across the Define, Develop and Deliver phases, with an increasing role in quality assurance and technical leadership within the sub-team. This will include; • Embracing core CoE values of: • Customer Focus • Collaboration • Integrity • Courage • Ensuring all work demonstrates JLL's core behaviours of: • Inspire • Win together • Simplify • Be intentional • Be future ready • Develop wireframes for proposed analytics solutions, translating complex requirements into clear visual designs, and contributing to solution design by advising on technical feasibility, data availability and best-practice design patterns. • Build complex analytics solutions iteratively within agile sprints using Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Python and SQL. • Conduct thorough code reviews and data validation as part of the QA process, ensuring solutions meet CoE quality standards. • Lead visualisation review and data validation to confirm outputs are accurate, consistent and aligned to requirements. • Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring client feedback is incorporated effectively. • Publish completed analytics solutions to the Azara production environment, producing comprehensive documentation covering architecture, data sources, maintenance guidance and user instructions. • Consult on and contribute to usage and RoI tracking for delivered solutions, supporting Azara AI self-service enablement. • Translate complex business requirements into practical analytics solutions, acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team. • Share knowledge with Analytics Developers and contribute to the team's continuous development. • Be an active member of internal and external analytics communities to continuously evolve skills and bring best practice into the CoE. Major responsibilities: • Day-to-day delivery of complex analytics solutions as defined within the Target Operating Model, using Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Python and SQL. • Leading wireframe development and contributing to solution design for the sub-team's analytics initiatives. • Building, testing and iterating complex analytics solutions within agile sprints; conducting QA and data validation to ensure all outputs meet CoE quality standards. • Publishing solutions to the Azara production environment and producing comprehensive documentation. • Providing subject matter expertise for analytics-related processes and solutions of the Centre of Excellence. • Lead the technical development of complex Business Intelligence initiatives, ensuring constant communication and partnership with team members. • Liaise with key stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical business solutions. • Facilitate the continuous growth in skills and knowledge across the BI CoE. • Effective partnership with account and platform solutions and insights delivery teams; ensuring the work of the Centre of Excellence is aligned with the requirements of customers and delivers quantifiable benefit to the business.
