Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Summary The Sr Software Engineer – Web will work on projects related to the design, development, and support of Polaris Ride Command web applications and digital experiences, with a strong focus on Angular-based development. This role is responsible for analyzing product and business requirements, contributing to technical design, developing scalable web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS , performing unit testing, and supporting production systems. The Software Engineer – Web will collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineering teams to deliver high-quality, feature-rich connected rider experiences. This individual must demonstrate a passion for building modern, performant Angular applications that enhance the powersports experience and drive business value through innovative software solutions Key Responsibilities Software development and design Design, develop, and maintain Angular-based single-page applications (SPA) Translate product requirements and UX designs into scalable, high-quality web applications Implement modern frontend architecture patterns and best practices Develop reactive and asynchronous functionality using RxJS and Observables Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using TypeScript and Angular frameworks Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) as part of the development workflow Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and performant across devices and browsers Develop and execute unit tests and participate in peer code reviews Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives System and Team Support Support, maintain, and enhance deployed web applications Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues Provide timely resolution to production defects and user-reported issues Communicate technical challenges and propose alternative solutions Collaborate with backend and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across web, mobile, and backend systems Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes (e.g., GitHub Actions) Support releases, deployments, and ongoing maintenance activities Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, standards, and team productivity Develop and maintain technical documentation Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to meet business needs Code and Process Review Participate in peer reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Review code for maintainability, performance, and scalability Contribute to the definition and evolution of development standards and practices Skill Requirements Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience building modern web applications Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS for building modern single-page applications Experience building single-page applications (SPA) using Angular Strong experience with RxJS, Observables, and asynchronous programming Experience consuming RESTful APIs Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (preferably Jira) Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices Experience with unit testing and code quality practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred **Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS:** S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk) Experience working with mapping APIs (Mapbox, Google Maps) Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability testing techniques Performance testing and optimization experience Experience improving system observability, logging, and error reporting Experience contributing to coding standards and best practices Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (e.g., Auth0) Experience with App Projection ecosystems or connected vehicle platforms 8+ years of overall software development experience Other Requirements Preferred **Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS:** S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk) Experience working with mapping APIs (Mapbox, Google Maps) Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability testing techniques Performance testing and optimization experience Experience improving system observability, logging, and error reporting Experience contributing to coding standards and best practices Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (e.g., Auth0) Experience with App Projection ecosystems or connected vehicle platforms 8+ years of overall software development experience **#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now:** focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now: focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-
