Country/Region: IN Requisition ID: 36768 Work Model: Position Type: Salary Range: Location: INDIA - PUNE - BIRLASOFT OFFICE - HINJAWADI # **Title:** **Apex Developer** Description: ## **Area(s) of responsibility** **Role Overview** The Oracle APEX Consultant will be responsible for **designing, developing, securing, and deploying enterprise‑grade low‑code applications using Oracle APEX 24.x**. The role demands deep expertise across **APEX architecture, UI/UX, REST & JSON integrations, workflows, security, performance tuning, and AI capabilities introduced in APEX 24.2**. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, database teams, and enterprise architects to deliver **scalable, secure, and high‑performance applications** aligned with Oracle Cloud and enterprise standards. **Key Responsibilities** **1. APEX Architecture & Foundations** - Design and implement solutions based on **Oracle APEX 24.x architecture** (APEX, ORDS, Database, OCI). - Set up and manage **APEX workspaces, schemas, and application structures**. - Leverage **SQL Workshop** for schema design, data management, and SQL optimization. - Build applications using **Auto App / Quick App** capabilities where applicable. **2. Application Development (Pages, Forms & Reports)** - Design and develop **forms, reports, dashboards, and CRUD applications**. - Implement **Interactive Reports (IR) and Interactive Grids (IG)** effectively. - Use **Page Designer** for validations, computations, processes, and business rules. - Develop and manage **Shared Components** such as LOVs, templates, and navigation. - Apply **Universal Theme and UX best practices** for intuitive user experiences. **3. Advanced UI, Dynamic Actions & Client‑Side Logic** - Implement **Dynamic Actions** following best practices to reduce server‑side PL/SQL. - Integrate **JavaScript** for enhanced UI behavior and client‑side validations. - Develop advanced regions including **Charts, Cards, KPIs, Trees, and Dashboards**. - Ensure **responsive and mobile‑ready application design**. - Debug and optimize applications using built‑in APEX debugging tools. **4. REST, JSON & External Integrations** - Configure and consume **REST Data Sources** in Oracle APEX. - Build applications using **JSON Data Sources (APEX 24.2)** with Auto Data Profiles. - Create **declarative JSON‑based reports and forms**. - Perform **DML operations on JSON data** (APEX 24.2 feature). - REST‑enable tables and views; integrate with **OData and third‑party APIs**.
