API Automation (Rest Assured / Playwright)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** . 510 years of experience in **API Automation testing with a strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and best practices.** 2. Minimum 4+ years of experience in API automation using Rest Assured with **BDD Cucumber**, including the ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch. 3. Minimum 2+ years of experience in API functional testing using tools -**Postman/SoapUI, Swagger UI.** 4. Hands-on experience with **Playwright** for modern test automation. 5. Experience in **UI test automation** using Java-Selenium with Page Object Model and BDD (Cucumber) approach. 6. Familiarity with **DevOps tools** including GitHub, Jenkins, and GitLab for CI/CD and version control. Should have worked on IDE like IntelliJ and VS code for API Automation. 7. Experience working with databases such as **Oracle** and **PostgreSQL** for validation and data handling. 8. Proven ability to independently manage **end-to-end (E2E) API testing activities.** 9. Excellent communication skills with experience in client interaction and stakeholder management. 10.Experience on Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure. 11.Must have worked on Agile practices 12.Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
