**Job Description:** API Automation Test Engineer **Position:** API Automation Test Engineer **Experience:** 3 to 10 Years **Location:** Bangalore / Pune / Chennai **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Required Skills** - 3-10 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in **API Automation Testing**. - Hands-on experience in API automation using **Rest Assured**, **Postman**, and Swagger/OpenAPI. - Strong programming skills in **Java**, **Python**, or **JavaScript**. - Experience in testing and automating **RESTful APIs**, Web Services, JSON, and XML payloads. - Good understanding of TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Git. - Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. - Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes. - Experience in database testing using SQL and backend validation techniques. - Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, etc. - Understanding of API authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Basic Authentication. - Experience in integration testing, regression testing, and microservices testing. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
