**Greetings!** **TCS India presents excellent opportunities for IT professionals.** **Role :- API QA** **Experience:- 4-6 years** **Location:- Bangalore** **Required Technical Skill Set:-** **Must-Have** - API testing using Postman or SoapUI tool - Automation frameworks (RestAssured, TestNG) - Work in agile project execution model with 4 hours overlap - Requirement gathering and coordination with Business Analysts - Coordination for User acceptance Testing **Good-to-Have** Knowledge on Web UI Automation using java and selenium **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** - Design and execute test plans for APIs. - Validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of API endpoints. - Ready to work closely with developers to understand the API requirements. Create and maintain detailed, accurate and concise test documentation - Perform regression testing for APIs to ensure existing functionalities are unaffected by updates. - Candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills. - Candidate must be very detailed focused with an emphasis on quality & end-to-end testing. - Automate API testing using appropriate tools and frameworks. - Outstanding knowledge with the principles of designing easily modifiable and extensible automated tests. - Ability to write complex queries to perform data validations or set-up test data.
