API Testing - (Playwright / Rest Assured)

Job description

- 6–8 years of experience in API Automation testing with a strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and best practices. - Minimum 4+ years of experience in API automation using Rest Assured with BDD Cucumber, including the ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in API functional testing using tools -Postman/SoapUI, Swagger UI. - Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern test automation. - Experience in UI test automation using Java-Selenium with Page Object Model and BDD (Cucumber) approach. - Familiarity with DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, and GitLab for CI/CD and version control. Should have worked on IDE like IntelliJ and VS code for API Automation. - Experience working with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL for validation and data handling. - Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end (E2E) API testing activities. - Excellent communication skills with experience in client interaction and stakeholder management. - Experience on Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure. - Must have worked on Agile practices - Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
