**Role Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Edifecs Developer** to design, develop, and support healthcare EDI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Edifecs tools and a solid understanding of healthcare EDI transactions and compliance standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain EDI mappings using **Edifecs SpecBuilder and MapBuilder** - Work on healthcare EDI transactions such as **837 (P/I/D), 835, 270/271, 276/277, 277CA, 834, 820, PACDR** - Develop and manage **Guidelines, Profiles, and Protocols** - Configure and support **Edifecs EAM / XEngine** for batch and real-time processing - Perform EDI validation, error handling, and troubleshooting - Work closely with business analysts and healthcare SMEs to understand requirements - Support production issues, root cause analysis, and defect fixes - Ensure compliance with **HIPAA, X12 5010, and other regulatory standards** - Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support activities - Document technical designs and operational procedures **Required Skills Qualifications** - **7+ years** of hands-on experience with **Edifecs tools** - Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI standards (**X12, HIPAA**) - Experience with **SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, XEngine** - Hands-on experience in EDI validations, acknowledgments (**999, 277CA**) - Experience with batch processing and real-time EDI flows - Good understanding of healthcare domain concepts (claims, eligibility, payments) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills **Good to Have** - Experience with **Edifecs EAM, Encounter Management** - Exposure to **cloud deployments** (AWS/Azure) - Knowledge of **SQL and database tracking** - Experience with production support and on-call rotations - Understanding of **payer/provider workflows** **Education** - Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
