Job description

**Location- Bangalore/Chennai/Pune/Mumbai** **Role & responsibilities** - Assessment & Strategy: Conduct deep-dive assessments of legacy applications, identifying dependencies, technical debt, and risks. Define 7R migration strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, etc.). - Target Architecture Design: Create architectural blueprints, reference models, and integration patterns for cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless technologies. - Modernization Execution: Guide engineering teams through the modernization of monoliths into microservices, implementing API-first approaches. - Tooling & Automation: Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to automate deployment. - Migration Implementation: Leverage tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, or Google Cloud Migrate to execute data and workload migrations with minimal downtime. - Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, CIOs, and technical teams to align cloud strategies with business goals, presenting trade-offs and cost optimizations (FinOps). - Security & Compliance: Ensure modernized applications adhere to security best practices (Identity & Access Management, Encryption, Secrets Management) and regulatory standards. - Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and developers on cloud-native design principles and best practices. **Preferred candidate profile** We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in legacy application modernization, cloud migration strategies, and deep hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools. You will lead the end-to-end journey from assessing current-state infrastructure to designing and implementing cloud-native target architectures (re-platforming/refactoring) to maximize scalability, security, and performance.
