**Job Description Technical Lead** **Role:** Application Development, Maintenance & Support **Experience:** 5–9 Years **Location:** **Nagpur (On-site/Hybrid as applicable)** **Role Overview** We are looking for a skilled **Technical Lead** to oversee application development, maintenance, and support activities. The role involves leading a development team, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business requirements. **Key Responsibilities** **Application Development** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using **Java, Advanced Java, and Spring Boot**. - Develop **microservices-based architecture** and implement **RESTful APIs**. - Write **clean, efficient, and testable code** following best practices. - Enhance and maintain existing systems for performance and scalability. **Technical Leadership** - Lead and mentor a team of developers. - Participate in **technical design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews**. - Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and development processes. - Support team members in resolving technical challenges. **Maintenance & Support** - Provide **production support (L2/L3)** and troubleshoot critical issues. - Perform **root cause analysis** and implement preventive solutions. - Ensure high availability and reliability of applications. **Cloud & Integration** - Work with **AWS/Azure cloud platforms** for deployment and support. - Build and optimize **cloud-based solutions**. - Ensure proper system integration and performance optimization. **Database Management** - Work with **SQL/Oracle databases** for data storage and retrieval. - Optimize queries and ensure database performance and integrity. **Stakeholder Collaboration** - Understand customer requirements and provide **effective technical solutions**. - Communicate clearly with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. **Required Skills** **Technical Skills** - Strong expertise in: - **Java & Advanced Java** - **Spring Boot** - **Microservices** - **RESTful APIs** - Experience with **Angular** (preferred). - Knowledge of **SQL/Oracle databases**. - Hands-on experience with **AWS or Azure**. **Soft Skills** - Excellent **communication skills (verbal & written)**. - Strong **problem-solving and analytical skills**. - Ability to lead and mentor team members. - **Adaptable and flexible** in handling new tasks/projects. - Willingness to **teach and support others**. **Experience & Qualification** - **5–9 years** of relevant experience in application development and support. - Prior experience in a **technical leadership role** is preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science / IT / related field**. **Good to Have** - Experience with **DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines**. - Exposure to **Docker/Kubernetes**. - Experience in **Agile/Scrum methodologies**. **Key Attributes** - Strong ownership and accountability. - Team player with leadership mindset. - Passion for building scalable, high-quality software solutions.
