Job Description: As an Application Engineer, you will be a key member of our SGU\\_DE & AI Solutions\\_Digital Engineering - Common>IMU\\_Insurance\\_Insurance L&A department. Your primary focus will be on developing and optimizing web applications, ensuring high-performance and secure coding practices. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers, working in an Agile environment to deliver innovative solutions. - Responsibilities: Develop web applications using Angular, implementing modern front-end development practices. - Utilize Azure Functions for REST APIs and scheduled/batch execution, ensuring efficient and reliable application performance. - Diagnose and resolve application issues, providing timely solutions for both front-end and back-end components. - Optimize APIs, background jobs, and data-driven applications for maximum performance. - Implement secure coding practices and authentication/authorization concepts to ensure data integrity and user privacy. - Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to continuously improve our development processes. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, adopting new practices to enhance our applications. - Document and maintain clear and concise code, ensuring code quality and maintainability. - Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth. - Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development, with a strong focus on Angular. - Working knowledge of Azure Functions, including API development and deployment. - Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of back-end development concepts and database management. - Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications. - Familiarity with secure coding practices and industry standards. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in an Agile environment. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
