**Role & responsibilities** **Application &** **Packaging** - Implement and overseeing the SAP defined process for delivering Windows Applications via Patch My PC (Intune) • Train and mentor the packaging team on the developed best practices for Windows application packaging • Provide continual expert-level training and final package review to mid-level packagers. • Build new software packages that require advanced-level packaging for the Windows platform in accordance with the established SAP guidelines.. • Refresh existing complex packages or applications for the Windows platform.  • Where Patch My PC does not fit as a delivery mechanism, package applications using Advanced Installer and the PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit) for Intune Deployment • Resolve complex end-user packaging incidents. • Work with application owners to resolve product support issues. • Assist new application owners with requesting new software packages • Monitor the SAP Software Packaging team mailbox • Provide technical consultancy and support to the team in the related area of technology. • Provide technical and end user support for all packages deployed at SAP • Submit and review application requests for software packaging. • Write the required PowerShell scripts for the packaging functionality. • Deploy and support client based and web based applications • Build, maintain & support packaging templates (logos, popups, pre and post action scripts)
