Love your job.** Texas Instruments is seeking an Applications Manager responsible for managing the technical support staff who, in turn, support the company's sales staff and customers after product release. You will provide, present and interpret design, application and service information. In this role, you will ensure product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer and explore the business feasibility of general marketing. You will also ensure the application/solution is functioning according to specifications. As an Applications Manager, you will establish and maintain lines of communication with systems and design engineering on issues such as design considerations for product reliability. An exciting aspect of this role is that it is a people manager position. **Minimum requirements:** - Minimum education (i.e., bachelor's degree in electrical engineering) - Minimum of 5 years of experience with **DC/DC converter topologies, control loop architectures** - Strong **execution mindset**; ability to manage several projects in parallel. - Experience working across **systems, marketing engineering on new product developments** - Passion for **mentoring and developing engineering talent**. - Excellent **verbal & written communication**; stakeholder influence at all levels. **Preferred qualifications:** - Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes - Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions - Ability to take the initiative and drive for results - Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
