- Languages & Runtimes: Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), Scala (Akka/Play), Groovy, Python - Frontend / API: Angular (TypeScript), REST/GraphQL design - Streaming & Data: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark (batch + streaming), Elasticsearch - Containers & IaC: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, Terraform, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) - Integration: Jasper Reports, - Security: OAuth 2.0/OIDC, mTLS, Azure Key Vault, FCA/PCI-DSS awareness - Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace - Patterns: Microservices, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, DDD, API Gateway (Kong/APIM) **Key Responsibilities** - Own the platform reference architecture for all SCF modules (payables, receivables, dynamic discounting). - Lead HLD/LLD reviews across squads; enforce architecture guardrails and tech-debt governance. - Design high-throughput pipelines (Spark + Kafka) processing >20M invoices/day at <2 s SLA. - Drive Azure cloud strategy: AKS sizing, Terraform modules, Helm packaging, multi-region HA. - Translate business rules (multi-funder allocation, FX settlement, dynamic discount pricing) into technical design. - Establish CI/CD, coding, and security-by-design standards across the engineering org. - Mentor Team Leads and senior developers; run architecture knowledge-sharing sessions. **Requirements** - 12+ yrs software engineering; 4+ yrs hands-on architect on large-scale fintech/banking platforms. - Proven event-driven, cloud-native microservices design at millions of financial transactions/day. - Strong Java/Spring Boot; Scala/Akka or Python for data processing. - Production Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD. - SCF, trade receivables, or working capital domain knowledge is a significant advantage. - Good to have: Talend ETL, SAP/Oracle ERP connectivity
