**Designation : Art Set Designer & Production Coordinator.** **Location : Lower Parel, Mumbai.** **Role Overview:** We’re looking for a highly creative and execution-focused **Art Set Designer & Production Coordinator** to bring our visual concepts to life while ensuring smooth day-to-day shoot execution. This role is a blend of **70% art and set design** and **30% production coordination** , making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creating beautiful visual environments and managing the operational side of shoots. From conceptualizing moodboards and designing backdrops to sourcing props, coordinating vendors, maintaining production trackers, and handling on-ground execution, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity and efficiency of our content production. Our shoots happen **every day** , so we’re looking for someone who can think creatively, solve problems quickly, adapt to last-minute changes, and execute with speed and precision. **Key Responsibilities:** *Art Direction & Set Design -* - Design and execute creative backdrop setups for product, campaign, lifestyle, and social media shoots. - Conceptualize unique shoot environments that align with creative briefs and brand aesthetics. - Create moodboards, visual references, layout plans, and set concepts for upcoming shoots. - Source and style props, furniture, fabrics, décor elements, and backdrop materials. - Build, install, and dismantle physical sets and backdrops, ensuring they are camera-ready and executed to a high standard. - Continuously bring fresh visual ideas inspired by fashion, design, interiors, retail, and content trends. *Production & Shoot Coordination -* - Manage **end-to-end execution** of shoots, from pre-production planning to on-ground coordination and post-shoot wrap-up. - Coordinate with photographers, stylists, creative teams, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth production workflows. - Handle **product logistics** for shoots, including tracking samples, organizing products, coordinating outfit flow, and ensuring shoot readiness. - Coordinate with prop vendors, fabricators, carpenters, rental partners, and external vendors for custom set requirements. - Prepare and maintain production trackers, prop inventories, shoot schedules, and execution documents. - Ensure timely setup, execution, and breakdown of shoot environments. - Handle **last-minute changes** , troubleshoot on-set challenges, and provide quick solutions to keep shoots on schedule. - Assist in post-shoot activities, including prop returns, inventory management, asset organization, and documentation. **Skills & Qualifications:** - 1–3 years of experience in **Set Design, Production Design, Art Direction, Creative Production, or a similar role** . - Proven experience designing and executing sets, backdrops, or visual environments for photography, fashion, advertising, or content shoots. - Strong understanding of composition, color theory, textures, materials, spatial styling, and visual storytelling. - Excellent prop styling and sourcing skills with a strong network of local vendors and rental contacts. - Ability to visualize concepts and translate them into engaging physical sets. - Strong production coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shoot setups simultaneously. - **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is essential** , as a significant part of the role involves maintaining production trackers, budgets, inventories, and shoot schedules. - Comfortable working in a **fast-paced environment with daily shoots, quick turnarounds, and changing priorities** . - Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to make quick decisions on set. - Familiarity with design and presentation tools such as **Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.** **What We’re Looking For:** - A strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail. - Someone who is equally comfortable **creating a moodboard and lifting furniture on set** . - A proactive executor who takes ownership from concept to completion. - Someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys building things, and can keep shoots moving efficiently even when plans change. - A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
