The ASP.NET Lead Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a development team, reviewing code, enforcing best practices, and collaborating with architects, business analysts, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The role involves translating business requirements into technical designs, estimating effort, overseeing deployments, and troubleshooting complex issues in production and non-production environments. The Lead Developer will also mentor team members, contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, and stay current with emerging technologies in the .NET ecosystem. **Qualifications** - 8+ years of progressive software development experience using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET) - 3+ years of demonstrated people management experience, including hiring and guiding teams. - Candidates should possess strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills. - Candidates should possess hands-on Software Development experience in enterprise or large-scale applications. - Candidates should possess deep expertise in ASP.NET MVC for building robust web applications. - Candidates should possess practical experience with .NET Core for modern, cloud-ready services and APIs. - Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and secure coding practices. - Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers. - Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), RESTful APIs, and version control systems such as Git. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.
