Dear Professionals , TCS is Hiring For Asset Management Administration Total Experience -8Years-12Years Rel Exp-8 Years Skills - Asset Management ,CMDB, Software License Location - Chennai Date -25th-June-2026 Interview -Mode -Virtual JD : Must Have : Key Responsibilities 1. Asset Lifecycle Management • Manage the full lifecycle of assets from procurement, receipt, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. • Maintain an accurate asset inventory across all environments (IT hardware, software, infrastructure, equipment, facilities, etc.). • Track asset ownership, location, warranties, depreciation and service history. 2. Asset Register & CMDB Accuracy - Manage and maintain the Asset Register / CMDB with high data accuracy. • Support reconciliation activities between procurement, finance, warehousing and ITSM tools. • Ensure asset records reflect changes in status (allocated, in stock, active, retired, disposed) . 3. Procurement & Vendor Coordination • Support procurement and vendor teams with asset specifications, demand forecasting and ordering. • Liaise with vendors for delivery, warranty claims, repairs and replacements. • Verify receipts, POs, invoices, and contract alignment . 4. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management • Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, financial and security policies. • Support internal and external audits providing asset records, lifecycle documentation and evidence. • Monitor asset risks such as loss, security breaches, under-utilization and warranty expiry. 5. Hardware Asset Management • Manage end-user computing devices, servers, network equipment and accessories. • Oversee stock control, warehousing and RMA processes. • Coordinate device imaging, deployment and disposal according to WEEE standards. 6. Finance & Reporting • Maintain accurate financial records for capitalized and operational assets. • Support depreciation schedules, asset costing, forecasting and budget planning. • Produce regular reports, dashboards and analytics on asset status, utilization and trends. 7. Process Governance & Continuous Improvement • Develop and maintain asset management policies, processes and standards. • Identify opportunities for process automation, tracking enhancements and cost savings. • Promote asset governance compliance across the organization.
