Assistant Dispatch Manager

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Manage end-to-end dispatch operations including planning, scheduling, and execution - Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment - Ensure accurate documentation (invoice, e-way bill, packing list, GRN, etc.) - Monitor daily dispatch targets and ensure adherence to delivery timelines - Optimize vehicle utilization and route planning to reduce logistics cost - Handle transporter/vendor coordination and negotiation - Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company dispatch protocols - Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues - Maintain dispatch records, MIS reports, and performance dashboards - Lead and supervise dispatch team, including manpower planning and shift management **Preferred candidate profile** - Strong knowledge of dispatch, logistics, and warehouse operations - Experience in documentation like e-way bills, invoicing, and compliance - Good coordination and stakeholder management skills - Analytical mindset for cost optimization and efficiency improvement - Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems - Problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
