Learn more about ET&P **Your work profile** We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python-based web frameworks, primarily Django, and exposure to FastAPI. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and integrating databases and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django - Develop and consume RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations - Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval - Optimize application performance, security, and scalability - Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Azure Cloud - Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders to understand requirements - Troubleshoot and debug production issues **Key skills required:** - Strong proficiency in Python - Hands-on experience with Django (mandatory) - Exposure to FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks - Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation - Experience with databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server / NoSQL) - Working knowledge of Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, etc.) - Familiarity with Git/version control systems - Bachelor's degree- B.Tech/ B.A/ B.Sc/B.Com **Good to Have:** - Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.) - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of microservices architecture
