**Role Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Assistant Manager – Treasury** to support treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, foreign exchange management, trade finance, banking operations, treasury compliance, and working capital optimization. Reporting to the **Treasury Manager**, the incumbent will be responsible for managing day-to-day treasury activities, maintaining banking relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting funding requirements, and driving treasury process efficiencies. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management** - Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts. - Ensure availability of adequate funds for operational, statutory, payroll, and vendor payment requirements. - Optimize fund utilization across bank accounts and business units. - Monitor liquidity position and highlight funding gaps and surplus cash positions **2. Banking Operations & Relationship Management** - Manage day-to-day banking operations, including account administration and transaction monitoring. - Coordinate with banking partners for issue resolution and operational support. - Maintain bank mandates, authorized signatories, internet banking access, and banking documentation. - Support opening, closing, and modification of bank accounts as per business requirements. - Develop and maintain professional relationships with banks and financial institutions. - Manage Workflow of authorised Signatory at online banking portal and investments portal **3. Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance** - Prepare and monitor monthly foreign exchange exposure reports. - Track currency-wise exposures and assist in formulation of hedging strategies. - Ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines and RBI regulations. - Coordinate with banks for foreign remittances, inward remittance tracking, and documentation and accounting. EDPMS & eBRC Compliance - Monitor export realization through EDPMS. - Ensure timely mapping of inward remittances and generation of eBRCs. - Coordinate with Authorized Dealer Banks for closure of export transactions. IDPMS Compliance - Monitor import remittances through IDPMS. - Ensure timely submission of Bills of Entry and reconciliation with remittances. - Coordinate with AD banks for closure of open import transactions and prevention of caution-listing. - Prepare EBRC of Foreign inward remittance - Make Custom Duty payments at Bank portal **4. Letters of Credit (LC) Operations** - Prepare and submit LC applications (both domestic and foreign) through bank corporate portals. - Continuously track and actively monitor sanctioned bank-wise LC limits to ensure adequate availability for upcoming business operational requirements. - Handle accounting, documentation, amendments, and Tracker of charges and outstanding LC for all domestic and foreign LCs. - Handle LC amendments, documentation, accounting, and charge tracking. - Track overall LC exposure and prepare periodic status and limit-utilization reports. **5. Bank Guarantee (BG) Management** - Process applications for Performance, Financial, Advance, Retention, and Bid Bond Bank Guarantees. - Monitor BG validity, renewals, amendments, claims, and cancellations. - Coordinate issuance and delivery of BGs with banks and project teams. - Maintain BG registers and utilization trackers. - Provide periodic reports on outstanding BG exposure and limit utilization to Treasury Manager and Finance leadership. **6. Borrowings & Banking Facilities Management** - Monitor utilization of fund-based and non-fund-based limits. - Coordinate with banks for post-sanction compliance requirements. - Prepare and submit stock statements, QIS reports, financial information, and covenant compliance reports. - Support renewal and enhancement of working capital and trade finance facilities. - Maintain facility-wise sanction, security, and renewal trackers. **7. Investments & Surplus Fund Management** - Evaluate short-term and long-term investment opportunities. - Monitor returns on investments while adhering to treasury policy. - Coordinate placement and redemption of fixed deposits and approved investment products. - Prepare investment performance reports and yield analysis. - Ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines. **8. Reporting & Stakeholder Management** - Prepare and present comprehensive weekly/monthly treasury dashboards and operational reports to thereporting manager. - Coordinate daily with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and core Business Units) for accurate cash monthly forecasting, trade documentation, and exposure tracking. - Build and maintain operational relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and treasury advisors. **9. Audit & Internal Controls** - Ensure strict adherence to internal treasury policies, standard operating procedures, FEMA regulations, and internal controls. - Prepare statutory audit schedules for all treasury, LC, BG, FX, and borrowing operations. - Engage with statutory auditors to resolve queries and secure audit sign-offs. - Provide required data to internal auditors and address any observations.
