Designation : Assistant Manager Level : L3 Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu , India. Experience : 8-12 Years Job Role : Risk Analytics Lead (Assistant Manager, L3) is a hands-on, strategic role requiring 8+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, or banking. The position focuses on leveraging advanced data analytics to support risk monitoring, strategy execution, and decision-making for digital financial products. The Lead will bridge the gap between complex datasets and actionable business insights by designing scalable reporting frameworks, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional partners in Risk, Product, Operations, and Compliance. Qualified candidates must hold a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Engineering) and possess a strong command of risk concepts, independent execution, and stakeholder management. Responsibilities : Execute end-to-end risk analytics, including monitoring portfolio health, evaluating risk frameworks, and identifying drivers behind risk outcomes to optimize performance. Perform complex data analysis using advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions) to uncover trends, anomalies, and root causes. Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reports for tracking KPIs, risk metrics, and performance indicators. Conduct deep dives into transaction risk, customer onboarding, underwriting performance, fraud trends, and rule monitoring. Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical solutions and present clear, data-backed recommendations to senior stakeholders. Mentor junior team members and ensure data accuracy and compliance with governance standards.
