Key Responsibilities Commercial Controls & Compliance - Act as the custodian of commercial controls, credit policies, risk management frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the assigned region. - Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and internal audit requirements. - Identify operational and financial risks and implement corrective and preventive measures. Accounts Receivable & Dealer Management - Monitor and drive effective management of Accounts Receivable (AR) to improve collections and reduce outstanding cycles. - Review dealer credit limits periodically and recommend revisions based on business requirements and risk assessment. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of dealer incentives, claims, and commercial settlements. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve dealer-related commercial issues efficiently. Warehouse & Inventory Operations - Oversee regional depot and warehouse operations to ensure seamless material availability and dispatch. - Monitor inventory levels to optimize working capital while preventing stock-outs and excess inventory. - Drive dealer servicing excellence by ensuring order fill rates consistently exceed 95%. - Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to improve warehouse productivity and operational efficiency. Budgeting & Financial Reporting - Ensure timely and accurate accounting of regional marketing and commercial expenses. - Prepare annual operating budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial reports for the region. - Conduct financial feasibility and viability analyses for new depot setups, warehouse expansion projects, and technology investments such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). - Monitor budget utilization and recommend cost optimization initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance & Accounts teams to enable smooth dealer onboarding and business operations. - Support commercial decision-making through financial insights and operational analysis. - Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Desired Candidate Profile - MCOM or CA (Inter)/ICWA qualifications will be an added advantage. - 58 years of experience in commercial operations, finance, supply chain, or sales operations, preferably in FMCG, Manufacturing, Building Materials, or Paints industry. - Strong understanding of commercial controls, credit management, inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting. - Experience in managing dealer networks and warehouse operations. - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
