**K Raheja Corp is hiring for - Assistant Quality Manager.** **Experience Required** 8- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for commercial and residential construction projects. **Educational Qualification** Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / B. Tech in Civil Engineering. **Location :** Airoli **Key Responsibilities** **Quality Control During Execution Stage** - Monitor and ensure quality compliance of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works at site. - Conduct regular inspections, quality audits, and surveillance checks. - Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, BOQs, and project quality plans. - Ensure adherence to applicable IS Codes, NBC guidelines, CPWD specifications, and industry best practices. - Monitor implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). **Concrete Technology & Batching Plant Management** - Prepare and review concrete mix designs in accordance with IS 10262 and project requirements. - Manage operations and quality control of captive RMC batching plants. - Conduct workability tests, compressive strength testing, and durability-related tests. - Analyze concrete-related issues and implement corrective measures. - Ensure calibration of batching plant equipment and testing instruments. **Material Quality Control** - Approve material sources and ensure compliance with approved material specifications. - Monitor testing of cement, aggregates, steel reinforcement, admixtures, blocks, tiles, waterproofing materials, paints, and other construction materials. - Coordinate with NABL-accredited laboratories for third-party testing and quality verification. - Maintain material approval records and test certificates. **Finishing Activities Quality Assurance** - Develop quality checklists, benchmarks, and acceptance criteria for finishing works. - Monitor quality of plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceilings, faade works, joinery, and external development works. - Conduct mock-up inspections and establish quality standards before mass execution. - Ensure snag-free handover through systematic quality inspections and closure of punch points. **Documentation & Compliance** - Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, material approvals, test reports, NCRs, site observations, quality logs, and measurement books. - Prepare quality dashboards, KPI reports, and monthly management review presentations. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, and client quality requirements. - Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementation and audits, where applicable. **Non-Conformance & Corrective Action** - Identify, document, and track non-conformities and quality deviations. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Monitor closure of NCRs and effectiveness of corrective actions. - Conduct quality awareness and training sessions for project teams and contractors to prevent recurrence of defects. **Coordination & Communication** - Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, architects, MEP teams, and testing laboratories on quality-related matters. - Participate in internal and external quality review meetings. - Provide technical guidance and recommendations for quality improvement initiatives. **Skills & Competencies** - Strong knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, CPWD Specifications, ASTM standards, and construction quality practices. - Expertise in RCC works, concrete technology, finishing works, waterproofing systems, faade works, and MEP coordination. - Experience in captive RMC plant operations and concrete mix design optimization. - Proficiency in QA/QC documentation, audits, NCR management, and quality reporting. - Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP systems, and project quality management tools. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent vendor, consultant, and contractor coordination capabilities.
