**Job description** **Key purpose of the job: The role is responsible to Head EHS across residential sites across Pan India .** **Key Responsibilities:** - **Safety Policy and Program Development** - **Responsible for Safety across site for residential business .** - **Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.** - **Ensure all safety measures align with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all sites.** - **Communicate safety programs across all levels of the organization to promote a culture of safety.** - **Working closely with site heads , engineering head and group EHS head on implementing EHS across sites.** - **Safety Training and Awareness** **Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels.** **Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to reinforce safe working practices.** **Create and manage training schedules to ensure ongoing employee education on health and safety topics.** - **Incident Investigation and Reporting** - **Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.** - **Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and prepare reports for management.** **Ensure timely reporting of incidents to relevant regulatory bodies, as required.** - **Risk Management and Hazard Identification** **Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace.** **Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.** - **Oversee the implementation of engineering and administrative controls to minimize safety risks. 6. Safety Performance Monitoring** - **Develop and track key safety performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.** - **Conduct safety audits, inspections, and safety system reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.** **Monitor and analyse safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.** - **Contractor and Vendor Safety Management** **Ensure contractors and vendors adhere to the companys safety policies and standards.** - **Conduct safety assessments and audits of third-party contractors and suppliers.** - **Review contractor safety plans and performance prior to project commencement.** - **Team Leadership and Development** **Lead and mentor the safety team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills to perform effectively.** **Encourage a proactive safety culture across the organization, engaging all employees in safety initiatives.** **Drive safety excellence by fostering continuous improvement and innovation in safety processes.** **Qualifications:** - **Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Masters preferred).** - **10-18 years of experience in safety management.** - **Deep knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, such as OSHA, ISO 45001, and other safety certifications.** - **Proven experience in managing and improving safety programs in industrial or corporate settings.** - **Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.** - **Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety audits, and incident investigation procedures.** - **Certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or OSHA is highly desirable.**
