Main Responsibilities AP Convergent Mediation Pipeline Development: Analyse, change, configuration, desubg and support SAP CM solutions and processing flows, including mediation pipelines, data transformation logic, event enrichment processes, routing and filtering rules, and aggregation and normalization processes Usage Data Processing \& Transformation: Develop solutions to process and transform high-volume usage and event data from multiple source systems, covering event collection, usage normalization, data validation, error handling, event enrichment, and duplicate detection and correction Workflow Configuration \& Agent Management: Design and configure mediation workflows using predefined agent types --- Input, Processing, Validation, Aggregation, Forwarding, Output, Error Handling, and Routing agents --- to define how network data is collected, processed, and forwarded Data Validation \& Cleansing: Check incoming data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency against predefined rules; remove or correct inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant data to improve data quality Data Enrichment: Enhance usage records with additional information from external repositories and databases, such as customer details, service plans, and geographical data, to support accurate billing and analysis Data Normalization \& Format Standardization: Standardize data to a common format, eliminate redundancies and inconsistencies, and translate protocols or formats as needed before forwarding to target systems Error Detection \& Reprocessing: Deduplicate inputs, filter out erroneous data, capture and correct errors, rerun corrected data, and identify bad sources to reduce revenue leakage \[2\] Integration with BRIM Downstream Systems: Integrate SAP Convergent Mediation with downstream systems including SAP Convergent Charging (for rating and pricing), SAP Convergent Invoicing, SAP FI-CA, and Subscription Order Management (SOM) High-Volume Data Processing \& Performance Tuning: Handle high-volume usage data from multiple data streams; optimize mediation pipelines, workflows, and processing engines for scalability and throughput; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks APIs, BAPIs \& Middleware Integration: Support APIs, BAPIs, REST/SOAP interfaces, file-based interfaces, and real-time event processing frameworks; collaborate with integration architects on enterprise integration strategies Error Handling \& Root Cause Analysis: Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities; investigate and resolve data inconsistencies or processing failures SQL \& Database Knowledge: Apply SQL and database concepts to support mediation data management and processing operations Monitoring \& Observability: Monitor mediation environments for logging, tracing, observability, and alerting; collect backend information including platform logs, EC logs, and workflow configuration exports for support case resolution Complex Event Processing (CEP): Analyze and process multiple events in real-time to identify patterns or trends across high-volume data streams SAP Cloud ALM Integration: Understand how to integrate SAP Convergent Mediation systems with SAP Cloud ALM tenants for operational monitoring and lifecycle management Soft Skills Analytical \& Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to diagnose data discrepancies, processing failures, and complex mediation scenarios with attention to detail and a data-driven approach \[ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting effectively with both business and technical teams, including stakeholders and integration architects \[5\] Collaboration \& Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments, including offshore and onshore teams Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical mediation specifications \[5\] \[1\] Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for mediation configurations, custom developments, and support activities Agile Delivery Mindset: Comfortable working in Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies Graduation Experience Level Mid Level
