Role reports to: Supplier Quality Manager Location: Mumbai India Travel %: (10-20%) What you will do Assistant Manager Supplier Quality is responsible for supporting supplier quality operations across multiple categories by maintaining quality systems, coordinating change control activities, supporting audits, and driving corrective and preventive actions. This role acts as a generalist within the Supplier Quality organization, partnering cross-functionally to ensure compliance, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement across the supply base. Key Responsibilities • Conduct supplier qualification, surveillance, and for-cause audits to assess compliance with Kenvue quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements. • Evaluate supplier adherence to relevant regulations and GMP requirements, including CDSCO, Local FDA, and Schedule M. • Manage supplier audit programs, ensuring timely execution, reporting, and closure of audit CAPAs. • Review and verify the adequacy and effectiveness of supplier-provided evidence for closure of audit observations. • Support supplier-related change controls and assess quality impact to ensure compliance and continuity of supply. • Partner with suppliers to investigate and resolve quality system issues, non-conformances, and compliance gaps. • Perform supplier risk assessments and drive implementation and follow-up of mitigation plans. • Lead closure of supplier quality action plans, escalations, remediation activities, and supplier exit strategies, as required. • Support the Supplier Reliability Program by improving supplier quality, delivery performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. • Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality teams to maintain robust supplier quality management systems. What we are looking for Required Qualifications • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Systems, including supplier qualification, supplier audits, and external manufacturer oversight within the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, or FMCG industry. • Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards, including Drugs & Cosmetics Act, CDSCO guidelines, ICH guidelines, 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211, FSSAI, BRC, and current GMP requirements. • Proficient in the use of digital tools and IT applications for preparing quality documentation, business correspondence, presentations, training materials, and management reports. • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and CAPA management skills, with the ability to drive robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliance. • Sound understanding of Change Control, Deviation Management, Risk Assessment, I
