### Responsibilities #### 1. Project System Integration - Support system integration and transition projects for APM India business portfolio, ensuring continuity and accuracy of demand planning and inventory management processes. - Act as the business subject matter expert (SME) for demand planning and inventory during system implementation and hypercare phases. - Drive master data validation, demand migration, inventory transition planning, and system readiness activities to minimize operational disruptions during go-live. - Identify process gaps, data integrity issues, system limitations, and supply chain risks; develop and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity. - Collaborate with global, regional, and local cross-functional teams to align business requirements, process governance, and integration milestones. #### 2. Demand Planning - Own the end-to-end demand planning process for the APM India market, developing accurate forecasts using statistical models, historical trends, market intelligence, and commercial insights. - Facilitate monthly Demand Review and SOP/SOE meetings with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Regional Supply Chain teams to align forecast assumptions and business priorities. - Analyze forecast performance through key metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias, and Demand Volatility; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve planning effectiveness. - Translate product launches, promotions, tender opportunities, market dynamics, competitive activities, and seasonality trends into demand projections. - Partner closely with commercial stakeholders to challenge assumptions, validate opportunities and risks, and ensure forecast alignment with business objectives. - Provide demand outlooks, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to support strategic inventory planning, product transitions, and business growth initiatives. - Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodologies, planning tools, and demand planning processes to enhance forecast reliability and responsiveness. #### 3. Inventory Management - Lead inventory planning and optimization activities to achieve target customer service levels while balancing working capital, inventory turns, and obsolescence risk. - Establish and maintain inventory policies, including safety stock, reorder points, planning parameters, and replenishment strategies based on demand variability, lead times, and supply risks. - Monitor inventory health across the network and proactively identify potential shortages, excess inventory, slow-moving stock, and obsolescence risks. - Develop and execute inventory mitigation plans through demand shaping, redistribution, stock balancing, product substitution, and liquidation initiatives where applicable. - Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to ensure adequate supply coverage for new product launches, regulatory transitions, and business continuity requirements. - Drive inventory performance reviews and provide management visibility on key metrics, including Days of Inventory (DOI), Inventory Coverage, Backorders, Fill Rate, and Excess Obsolete Inventory. #### 4. Stakeholder Management - Act as the primary supply chain business partner for India APM commercial teams, ensuring alignment between market requirements and supply chain capabilities. - Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive timely decision-making, issue resolution, and execution of supply chain priorities. - Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, customer service performance, and operational efficiency.
