Job description

**Responsibilities** Asst.Manager - AHP Mechanical Commissioning will be responsible for the comprehensive execution of commissioning activities related to AHP mechanical equipment to ensure plant readiness for commercial operation. **Key Responsibilities Include** - Developing detailed commissioning plans and schedules in coordination with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and quality standards. - Supervising and coordinating mechanical commissioning activities such as installation verification, alignment checks, system flushing, lubrication, and testing of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping, and associated auxiliary equipment. - Leading technical troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts during commissioning to promptly resolve mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational reliability. - Collaborating closely with design, quality, procurement, and operations teams to ensure all commissioning activities comply with engineering specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. - Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for any mechanical failures or deviations encountered during commissioning phases. - Managing documentation including commissioning procedures, inspection reports, test records, and punch lists to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability. - Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines throughout all commissioning operations to promote a safe working environment. - Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and commissioning technicians, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team. - Engaging with vendors and contractors for technical clarifications, inspection approvals, and ensuring that all supplied equipment meets contractual and technical specifications. - Supporting the transition from commissioning to operations by facilitating equipment handover, conducting performance validation tests, and assisting in preparing operation and maintenance manuals. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance commissioning processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall project efficiency. - Representing Adani’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and community engagement through professional conduct and adherence to company values. **Qualifications** 7 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within the Power/Energy industry, preferably with hands-on exposure to AHP systems or similar auxiliary plant equipment. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university or institute.
