Assistant Manager Transport Operations What this job involves: As Assistant Manager Transport Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient employee transportation services for one of JLL's key clients. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance operational excellence with a people-first approach to team leadership. You'll oversee day-to-day transport operations, optimize route planning, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety standards and service level agreements. What your day-to-day will look like: • Oversee strategic site-level transport operations ensuring timely pickups and drops for employees across all shifts, with each cab and shuttle departing in advance of shift login times • Monitor real-time employee pickups and vehicle schedules, tracking timely and safe arrivals while addressing escalations promptly during shifts and coordinating with vendors to maintain service continuity • Maintain and update vendor performance scorecards quarterly, conducting monthly meetings with vendor management teams and sharing minutes of meeting with senior leadership • Ensure vendor contract tracker summary is maintained and coordinate with client teams for timely renewals and revised addendums • Ensure strict adherence to client security guidelines for employee transportation, particularly safety protocols for female staff, escalating any deviations through proper channels • Lead monthly meetings with client SPOCs to address queries, resolve concerns, and strengthen stakeholder relationships that drive mutual success • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Management (BCM) transport plans, actively participating in client-led planning sessions and sending timely mailers to clients about operational disruptions affecting production hours • Prepare and distribute daily operational dashboards, weekly management information reports, and monthly operational summaries to senior management within agreed timeframes, contributing to Monthly Management Reports • Coordinate with the billing team on invoice processing, payment of invoices, and monthly accruals, ensuring accurate cost tracking, analyzing transport costing, and highlighting findings to management Required qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field • 5–6 years of overall professional experience with a minimum of 4 years specifically in transport or logistics operations • Proven experience in employee transportation management within hospitality, IT, or facilities management industries • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements related to employee commute services • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews, monitor vendor performance, and ensure contract compliance • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication platforms for reporting and stakeholder engagement • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle escalations, provide guidance to site teams, and build strong client relationships • Strong analytical skills with experience preparing operational reports, analyzing transport costing, and driving data-driven decision-making to minimize operational costs Preferred qualifications: • Experience working in a corporate facilities management or integrated facility services environment serving clients with complex transport requirements • Familiarity with transport management systems, GPS tracking, real-time vehicle monitoring platforms, and helpdesk priority management • Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements, audit processes related to transport operations, and ability to provide audit reports with proper justifications • Demonstrated track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives, creating new projects, and driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction • Experience developing training plans, conducting driver and transport team training sessions, and maintain
