**Job Title:** Assistant Vice President **Department** : Data Administration **About Business line/Function:** IFSO ****Position Purpose:**** A leadership level position which will be responsible for managing the department involved in the set-up of security details in accounting platforms or pricing securities via pricing tool to support the Fund Administration teams to calculate the NAVs for Funds domiciled in multiple geographies or processes and monitor corporate action based on vendor inputs. Hands-on expertise in managing clients, people and processing without any issues. Manage the work effectively with team members to accomplish common goals. Generate creative solutions to problems, ability to plan work ahead and to prioritize workload in an organized manner. ****Responsibilities:**** Direct Responsibilities Data Administration (DA) department is responsible for below activities, - Securities Pricing: Collect market price from vendors, validate and deliver to internal accounting platform to be used in NAV, Middle Office, and Performance reporting and custody activities. - Securities creation and Data quality Management: Create and maintain security static data in various internal accounting and trading platform. - Corporate Action: To process Dividend and Corporate Action events based on inputs received from multiple vendor sources to enable Fund Accounting teams to record the income / events in portfolios valuated. **Responsibilities Of The Head:** - Run and develop a Securities Data Administration centre in Chennai. - Contribute to the improvement of a global operating model. - Develop a competitive and sustainable team that delivers added value by ensuring a significant lower unit by efficiency gains initiatives. - Develop and deliver service quality excellence and a culture that supports the creation of a centre of excellence. - Manage the medium- and long-term development of the operation through a clear target organization structure and relevant resource/succession planning. - Proactively promote and manage the culture of DA in line with BNPP ISPL culture and values. - Ensure processes and controls reflect the highest standards expected and proactively drive remediation actions plans. - Source and develop young professionals and talents in Chennai to add to the inventory talent in DA through the implementation of a suitable HR strategy, leadership, and people management skills. - Work effectively cross-border building strong relations with global DA management and as well as other “internal clients/stakeholders”. - Manage and drive projects of the department. **Basic Requirement:** - Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (Preferably in Finance) - 12- 15 years’ experience in Securities Services - At least 5 years’ senior management experience in an Operations environment, ideally Data Administration, enabling the candidate to provide effective leadership in establishing suitable operating norms, staff development and working culture. - Exposure to working effectively in a complex and global environment with internal clients and suppliers in various disparate locations. - Capable of building a good working relationship with senior Ops Managers in Securities Services is an invaluable attribute. - The ability to deal with colleagues from different cultures is important. Contributing Responsibilities - Conduct Brainstorming Sessions and share the best practices and ideas with the peer groups and team members. - Constantly review procedures to keep up to date with the change in process. - Manage all projects and new initiatives. - In depth understanding of the system functionalities. The applications we use and data retrieval from vendors.
