Associate Consultant - Campus Hires About ICA As one of fastest growing practice in DAS, Infrastructure and Climate Advisory (ICA) team at KGS invites like-minded professionals to help us drive progress and change. At KGS ICA practice, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist public and private sector organizations involved in infrastructure to deliver desired outcomes, for society and businesses. We are the Centre of Excellence for KPMG's Global practices, helping our clients to develop better understanding of the evolving policy and regulatory environment, business and commercial risks, as well as providing commercial and strategic advice on complex infrastructure and capital projects. You will work on a wide range of infrastructure sectors including transportation, digital and social infrastructure (education, healthcare), with diverse clientage a diverse range of clientele such as public sector entities, infrastructure owners, project developers, large corporates, contractors, equity investors, and financers. The role will be based out of KPMG's Mumbai office and liaise cross-functionally with leaders across the business to drive internal and external engagement. Roles \& responsibilities • Support the delivery of high-quality work products in line with defined plans, timelines, and quality standards, under guidance from the project team • Assist senior team members on client engagements by conducting research, preparing analyses, and supporting day-to-day project activities • Help identify potential client challenges or risks within an engagement and contribute initial ideas or observations for discussion with the team • Assist in developing project documentation (such as workplans, RAID logs, change logs, stakeholder maps) under guidance • Track and compile information on industry trends, competitor activity, and product/service developments to support team insights and discussions • Contribute to slide decks and client-ready deliverables by structuring content, improving narrative, and ensuring formatting/branding consistency • Conduct data validation and basic analysis to support findings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and version control This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications • MBA's, Postgraduates and Engineers from a leading Indian/International educational institutions • Candidates holding certifications from renowned institutes including PMI or other professional certification relevant to the requirements are preferred, but not mandatory Mandatory technical \& functional skills • Basic understanding of the project management lifecycle, with opportunities for hands-on exposure across project phases • Exposure to infrastructure-understanding the dynamics and concept of Lifecyle of infrastructure • Understanding of construction and project management concepts, who has a problem-solving attitude to add value for clients • Awareness of operational frameworks, processes, and emerging technologies used in the construction and infrastructure industry • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools or helping on built AI solutions for clients in Capital projects space • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, scheduling software, BIM, or Power Apps is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Key behavioral attributes/requirements • Personal drive and positive attitude to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations • Effective written and verbal communication skills and good inter-personal skills to work effectively in a team Experience Level Mid Level
